Terms of Service
Plain-language summary: 4ShootOps is operated by YourDigitalExpert Inc., a Canadian corporation. You keep ownership of everything you upload. 4ShootOps is a management and delivery platform: you connect your own cloud storage ("Bring-Your-Own" storage) and we help you organize, share, and deliver your work. Access is invite-only across three paid plans (Pro, Studio, and Studio+), billed recurring with automatic renewal unless cancelled. 4ShootOps is a delivery tool, not a backup service—you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We don't guarantee perfection—use the service responsibly, secure your credentials, and export your data if you leave.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Storage Quotas
5.1 Plans and Fees
4ShootOps is invite-only and offers three paid plans. There is no free plan; a free trial, where offered, is a promotional (100%-off) code applied to a paid plan, not a separate tier. All plans include unlimited projects, contacts, events, and share links, and use your own connected storage (Bring-Your-Own) rather than storage we host.
Pro
- • Cost: $99/month or $990/year
- • Seats: 1 (owner); collaborators interact via share links
- • Storage: Bring-Your-Own (your own S3 / B2 / R2 / Wasabi bucket)
- • Your own branding on share links and e-signature
- • Automated client follow-ups ("chasing")
- • Password and email-OTP protection on share links
- • BYO SMS (connect your own provider)
Studio
- • Cost: $299/month or $2,990/year
- • Seats: up to 10 team members
- • Everything in Pro, plus team collaboration and guided setup
- • Storage: Bring-Your-Own
Studio+
- • Cost: $499/month or $4,990/year
- • Seats: up to 25 team members
- • Everything in Studio, plus a custom client-portal domain, team-aware automation, the Data Safety Client (desktop backup to your own drives), optional cold archive to your own AWS Glacier, and done-for-you setup with dedicated support
- • Storage: Bring-Your-Own
Because storage is your own connected account, 4ShootOps does not meter or charge storage overage fees—you pay your storage provider directly for what you use. One-time onboarding or professional-services fees, where agreed, are billed separately.
5.2 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the next Billing Cycle. You authorize recurring charges for the selected plan plus applicable taxes (no overage charges).
5.3 Cancellation and Downgrade
You may cancel or downgrade via the dashboard. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current Billing Cycle unless otherwise specified.
When you cancel or lapse:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current Billing Cycle.
- If the subscription then lapses or is not renewed, the account becomes suspended (read-only): the owner can still sign in to view, export, delete, or resume the subscription, but creating and editing are disabled.
- Your files are not moved or deleted by us—they reside in your own connected storage and remain entirely under your control. Your 4ShootOps account is kept, read-only, for as long as you leave it suspended; we do not delete it for non-payment (see Section 8.4).
Downgrading between paid plans takes effect at the next Billing Cycle; seats or features above the lower plan's limits become unavailable, but your content is never deleted by the change.
5.4 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we retry according to Stripe's dunning process (a grace period with full access, followed by read-only access). After approximately 30 days of failed payment attempts, the subscription is cancelled and the account becomes suspended (read-only), as described in Section 5.3.
6. User Content and Rights
6.1 Your Content
You retain all rights to Content you upload. By uploading Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, display, and distribute your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.
6.2 Prohibited Content
You agree not to upload, share, or store Content that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Contains malware or harmful code
- Is defamatory, harassing, or abusive
6.3 Bring-Your-Own (Connected) Storage
The Service may allow you to connect your own third-party object-storage account ("Connected Storage") to store your Content instead of, or in addition to, storage we host.
- Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for your Connected Storage account, including its credentials, configuration, availability, durability, data residency, and any fees your storage provider charges. We are not responsible for data loss, downtime, access changes, deletions, or charges arising from your storage provider.
- How files are stored. For the Service to operate reliably, Content placed in Connected Storage is organized using internal, non-human-readable object keys (identifiers and timestamps). Human-readable names and folder structure are maintained within the Service's database, not in your bucket. As a convenience, the Service writes a best-effort index file to your bucket that maps internal keys to their display names; this index is provided "as is" and may be incomplete or delayed.
- Disconnection and portability. If you disconnect Connected Storage or terminate your account, your objects remain in your bucket exactly as stored; we do not delete or reorganize them. We do not guarantee that the bucket contents will be human-readable, navigable, or directly usable outside the Service after disconnection, and reconstructing a usable layout (including from the index file) is your responsibility. The 30-day retention and deletion practices described in Sections 5.3 and 8.3 apply to storage we host—not to your Connected Storage, which remains under your control at all times.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum (where applicable). We process Personal Data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
8. Termination and Data Retention
8.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time via the dashboard.
8.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law, with notice where practicable.
8.3 Effect of Termination
If you terminate your account under Section 8.1, or if we terminate it for cause under Section 8.2, your right to access the Service ceases. We will retain your data for 30 days to allow for export, after which it will be permanently deleted unless retention is required by law.
8.4 Non-payment is suspension, not termination
Lapsing or not renewing a subscription does not delete your account. It becomes suspended (read-only) as described in Section 5.3 and stays that way: you can sign in to view and export your data, and you can resume the subscription at any time. We do not charge you for keeping it, and your files are never touched — they are in your own connected storage throughout.
The one exception is genuinely abandoned accounts. If a suspended account has not been signed in to for 12 consecutive months, we will email the account owner and delete the account no earlier than 30 days after that notice. You may also ask us to delete a suspended account at any time.
9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
9.1 Service "As Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
9.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
