Billing Terms & Storage Quota Policy
Quick Summary: You subscribe to a plan (FREE or SOLO) billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. 4ShootOps does NOT charge overage fees—when you reach your storage limit, uploads are blocked until you delete files or upgrade. Billing is automatic, prorated on changes, and subject to taxes. Failed payments trigger retries and potential suspension.

Choose monthly or annual billing. Annual SOLO plan ($199/year) is available at Early Access pricing.
2. Billing Cycle
- All charges processed via Stripe on behalf of YourDigitalExpert Inc.
- Subscription fees billed automatically at the start of each billing cycle
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next cycle
- You authorize recurring charges for your selected plan plus taxes (no overage charges)
3. Storage Quota Enforcement (NO Overage Charges)
Important: 4ShootOps does NOT charge overage fees for storage.
When you reach your plan's storage limit, new uploads will be blocked until you delete files or upgrade to a higher plan. This applies to both FREE (10 GB) and SOLO (250 GB) plans.
3.1 Storage Quota Management
- FREE Plan: 10 GB storage limit
- SOLO Plan: 250 GB storage limit
- When limit reached: Uploads blocked, downloads and deletions allowed
- No automatic charges for exceeding quota
3.2 Notifications
You receive alerts when approaching (80%, 90%, 100%) your storage quota. Configure notification preferences in account settings.
3.3 Monthly Upload Limits (FREE Plan Only)
FREE plan has a 30 GB monthly upload limit to prevent abuse. This limit resets at the start of each calendar month. SOLO plan has unlimited monthly uploads.
4. Plan Changes
4.1 Upgrades
Upgrading mid-cycle triggers a prorated charge for the remainder of the cycle. New features activate immediately.
4.2 Downgrades
Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. If current usage exceeds new plan quotas, you must reduce usage or upgrade back.
4.3 Proration Example
Switching from $100/month to $200/month halfway through cycle:
- • Credit for unused half: $50
- • Charge for new half: $100
- • Net immediate charge: $50
5. Payment Methods
- Valid credit/debit card required via Stripe
- We store tokenized payment credentials only
- Update payment method anytime in dashboard
- Enterprise customers may request custom invoicing
6. Failed Payments
6.1 Retry Schedule
Failed payments trigger automatic retries:
- Day 1: Initial failure notification
- Day 3: First retry
- Day 5: Second retry with warning
- Day 7: Final retry before suspension
6.2 Account Status
- Grace Period: Limited access during retry window
- Suspension: Read-only access after final failure
- Termination: Data deletion after 30 days suspended
7. Taxes
- All fees exclusive of taxes unless stated
- We collect and remit taxes where required (Canadian GST/HST, VAT)
- You're responsible for any withholding taxes
- Tax-exempt? Provide valid exemption certificate
8. Invoicing
Invoices generated at each billing cycle include:
- Base plan charges
- Prorated adjustments
- Overage charges from previous period
- Applicable taxes
- Credits applied
Access invoices anytime in your dashboard. PDF receipts sent automatically via email.
9. Credits and Adjustments
- Promotional credits expire after 12 months
- Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable
- Applied automatically to future invoices
- Billing errors adjusted within 60 days of incident
10. Disputes
To dispute charges:
- Submit within 30 days of invoice date
- Email legal@yourdigitalexpert.com with invoice number and description
- Continue paying undisputed portions
- We investigate and respond within 14 days
Initiating chargebacks without contacting us may result in account suspension.
11. Price Changes
We may adjust pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers. Continue using the service after notice constitutes acceptance. Cancel anytime to avoid new pricing.
