Terms of Service
Plain-language summary: 4ShootOps is operated by YourDigitalExpert Inc., a Canadian corporation. You keep ownership of everything you upload; we host, store, share, and help you deliver it. You subscribe to plans (FREE or SOLO), pay recurring fees (with automatic renewal unless cancelled), and get features like file management, project management, and sharing. 4ShootOps is a delivery tool, not a backup service—you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We don't guarantee perfection—use the service responsibly, secure your credentials, and export your data if you leave.
1. Definitions
When used in these Terms, the following capitalized terms have the meanings set forth below:
- Account means the user account you create to access the Service.
- API means any programmatic interface provided by 4ShootOps for automation or integration.
- Content means all media, files, metadata, contracts, configurations, and other materials you upload, submit, create, or store via the Service.
- Service or Platform means the SaaS product branded as 4ShootOps.
- User, You, or Your means the person or entity using or registering for the Service.
- We, Us, or Our means YourDigitalExpert Inc., operating the 4ShootOps platform.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an Account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including any future modifications. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to register.
- You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to update it as necessary.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials (including API keys) and for any activity under your Account.
Notify us immediately if you suspect compromise.
4. Services Provided
4ShootOps is operated by YourDigitalExpert Inc. (Corporation Number: 16916023), a Canadian corporation. The Service includes, without limitation:
- Client/project/event/contact management and scheduling
- Uploading of media and files with resumable/multipart uploads
- Deliverables workflows and file organization
- Content sharing links with expiration, download tracking, and reminders
- Storage management with retention control
- Notification system (email, in-app)
- API access for integrations and automation
- Subscription tiers (FREE and SOLO) with storage quotas and quota enforcement
We may modify, add, or remove features; material reductions will be communicated in advance.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Storage Quotas
5.1 Plans and Fees
4ShootOps offers the following subscription plans:
FREE Plan

- • Total upload limit: 30 GB (anti-abuse)
- • Users: 1
- • Max Contacts: 50
- • Active Share links: up to 3
- • Share link TTL: up to 7 days
- • Protection: Public only
SOLO Plan
- • Cost: $9.99/month (Early Access; regular $19.99/mo) or $199/year
- • Storage: 250 GB
- • Max file size: 100 GB
- • Total uploads: No limit
- • Users: 1
- • Max Contacts: 500
- • Active Share links: up to 20
- • Share link TTL: up to 30 days
- • Protection: Public + Password + Email OTP
- • SMS: User only (USA, Canada, Brazil, UK)
- • Branding: User logo on share links
- • Versioning: 30-day with Object Lock
Important: 4ShootOps does NOT charge overage fees for exceeding storage quotas. Instead, when you reach your plan's storage limit, new uploads will be blocked until you delete files or upgrade to a higher plan.
5.2 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the next Billing Cycle. You authorize recurring charges for the selected plan plus applicable taxes (no overage charges).
5.3 Cancellation and Downgrade
You may cancel or downgrade via the dashboard. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current Billing Cycle unless otherwise specified.
When you cancel or downgrade:
- If storage ≤ new plan quota (e.g., ≤10 GB when moving to FREE): Normal transition, all files remain accessible
- If storage > new plan quota: Account enters "OVER_LIMIT" state with 30-day grace period (uploads blocked, downloads allowed)
- After 30-day grace period: Files moved to cold storage (AWS S3 Glacier Deep Archive) for 150 days
- After 150 days: 30-day final warning, then permanent deletion (Day 210 total)
5.4 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we retry according to Stripe's dunning process (5-day grace period with full access, then READ_ONLY for 25 days). After 30 days of failed payment attempts, subscription is canceled and same downgrade logic applies as Section 5.3.
6. User Content and Rights
6.1 Your Content
You retain all rights to Content you upload. By uploading Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, display, and distribute your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.
6.2 Prohibited Content
You agree not to upload, share, or store Content that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Contains malware or harmful code
- Is defamatory, harassing, or abusive
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum (where applicable). We process Personal Data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
8. Termination and Data Retention
8.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time via the dashboard.
8.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law, with notice where practicable.
8.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. We will retain your data for 30 days to allow for export, after which it will be permanently deleted unless retention is required by law.
9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
9.1 Service "As Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
9.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
